About Marcus Lux and Leipzig-Webdesign

I’m Marcus Lux, founder of Leipzig-Webdesign, a web designer and SEO consultant based in Leipzig, Germany. Since 2020, I’ve been building websites for independent professionals and businesses. I’m a trained Online Marketing Manager through KISA Akademie.

What I work on

I build WordPress websites, redesign existing sites and develop WooCommerce shops. I also work on keyword research, website content and technical SEO, including local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation.

At the start of a project, I look at what the business offers, who it wants to reach and what customers need to know before making an enquiry. I use that to plan the pages, write clear content and connect each offer to a useful next step. You work directly with me, from the initial structure through to implementation.

What I share here

This blog is where I share practical notes on web design, WordPress, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, alongside SEO project examples. I also examine AI search visibility, often called GEO or AI SEO, and distinguish measured results from ideas that still need testing.

I want the examples to be useful enough for you to inspect, adapt or try on your own website. You can find my interactive experiments on CodePen.

A project example: Café Kollwitz

Since 2022, I’ve been developing the Café Kollwitz website in Leipzig and working on its local SEO. The project includes dedicated pages for vegan and gluten-free offers, cake-order enquiries and work on the Google Business Profile.
